Community is at the heart of everything that we do at Red Rose Storage, and that is why we are so excited to announce the installation of a new defibrillator on the outside of our self storage facility in Chorley, accessible 24/7 to all homes and businesses in the area.

Why It Matters

The moment someone has a cardiac arrest, the clock starts ticking. Every minute without CPR and defibrillation reduces their chances of survival. But many defibrillators are never used because emergency services don’t know where they are or how to access them.

Always Accessible

Located in a bright yellow, heated and illuminated cabinet to the left of the rollershutter doors on the front of our unit, the defibrillator is available around the clock. Whether you’re a resident, business owner, or passerby, you can rely on this life-saving tool at any time.

Our defibrillator is registered on The Circuit which is a national database of publicly accessible defibrillators which the emergency services can use to direct people to their closest device.

How to Use It

If you suspect someone is having or has had a cardiac arrest you must immediately call 999. They will talk you through what to do, will advise you if there is a defibrillator local to you and provide you with an access code if the device is in a locked enclosure (which ours is).

Our defibrillator is simple to operate, with voice prompts guiding you through each step and the emergency services will be aware of the exact make and model that you are using.
